WET BLASTING
The Quill Falcon Cyclone is a wet abrasive blasting system which combines water, abrasive media and compressed air in a unique patented method to remove coatings, corrosion and residues, leaving surfaces cleaned contaminant free and profiled in seconds, so new coatings stick better for longer. It is a gentler, cleaner, more precise, and safer alternative to traditional dry sandblasting, as the water suppresses airborne dust, reduces friction at the nozzle and prevents sparks being created making it safer for use in environments with flammable materials.
The benefits of the Quill Falcon Cyclone:
- Produces a clean, profiled and contaminant free surface finish
- Prevents abrasive embedment in blasted surfaces
- Eliminates airborne dust
- Prevents sparking making it safer for use in environments with flammable materials
- Profiles and cleans surfaces to SA2½, HB2½, SB2½, NACE VIS 9, WAB 6/10 meaning newly applied coatings stick better for longer
- Ex-rated, Zone 1 approved, Baseefa accredited, TuV, ATEX and NORSOK compliant
- Uses a fraction of the blast media compared to dry blasting
- Feathers edges for quality repairs
- Removes soluble salts and chlorides
- Up to 21dB less noise and less gingering than with a dry blaster
From asbestos removal, oil and gas maintenance, road marking removal, marine maintenance, and building restoration to graffiti removal, automotive restoration, etching and cutting concrete, plastisol and powder coating removal, and hydrogen plant maintenance, the Quill Falcon Cyclone surface preparation capabilities are endless.
